Revlon Steel-her Heart

Il tempo a Londra è del tutto imprevedibile e spesso lascia mooolto a desiderare, ma lo shopping è sempre completamente soddisfacente. Una piccola passeggiata al centro e sono capitata in uno di quei negozi della catena Poundland, l'equivalente del nostro 50 centesimi, solo che qui paghi tutto ad un pound cioè una sterlina (l'inflazione nel cambio...). Credo che il concetto sia un pò diverso però, perchè non ci trovi merce cinese di qualità scadente ma prodotti di marche anche ben note a prezzi ridotti perchè o discontinuati o provenienti da mercati paralleli. Nel reparto cosmetici ho trovato due fantastici smalti Revlon, simili nel colore, Steel-her heart e Black Star e visto che non riuscivo a decidermi, li ho presi entrambi. Quello che ho "swatchato" qui è Steel-her heart, un grigio canna di fucile perlato che è stato supertrendy questo inverno dopo l'immenso successo di Black Pearl di Chanel. Nonostante lo smalto perlato sia più difficile da applicare di un creme, in due passate (senza respirare....con il fiato sospeso), ho ottenuto un buon risultato del tutto coprente, asciugatura veloce come piace a me. Sono poi dopo passata da Boots e ho notato con piacere che Black Star è ancora parte dela collezione Revlon Quick Dry e venduto a prezzo pieno di £6.49 (circa 8  €). Buon affare!

The weather in London is totally unpredictable but the shopping is always totally rewarding. A stroll in the centre and I landed in one of those Poundland  stores where everything is a pound. You can find a bit of everything, from food to books and of course lots of cosmetics. While I was rummaging through, I managed to find some very nice Revlon polishes and since I couldn't decide between the two of them , I bought them both. Here I have swatched for you Steel-her heart, a beautiful dark pearl grey which has been so popular last winter thanks to the great success of Chanel Black Pearl. Shimmers and pearl polishes are not my favourite and the application can be quite tricky and streaky, but I did get beautiful results after two coats in total isolation and silence(I was scared to ruin it all any minute!!!). Nice and glossy, quick drying time. Pleased to say that the other polish I picked up, Black Star, is still sold in Boots at full price, £6.49. So total bonus!
