OPI Strawberry Margarita

As much as nude manicures are all the rage this season, Strawberry Margarita is THE summer nail polish for me.
Originally released with OPI 2006's Mexico Collection, it is now part of OPI's core line. I've just received it with my latest order from my "dealer" from Los Angeles and I couldn't be more pleased.

It looks like a classic bright pink cream polish but in certain lights it will show you a light coral undertone. The formula is as amazing as the colour. I used two coats with SV top coat in the pictures. 

It is a great addition to any collection and a no brainer manicures when it's summer. Plus I really love the name. Who doesn't fancy a Strawberry Margarita?

Anche se i toni del nude ci hanno invaso questa stagione, per me Strawberry Margarita è il colore dell'estate.   Lanciato con la collezione estiva OPI Mexico 2006, Strawberry Margarita  fa oggi parte della linea permanente. L'ho ricevuto da poco con il mio ultimo ordine OPI dalla mia solita "spacciatrice" di Los Angeles, e vi assicuro che è arrivato giusto in tempo per il tanto "agognato "scoppio" del caldo estivo.

Nella boccetta ha tutta l'aria di essere il classico rosa intenso tendente al fucsia, creme finish, ma in realtà nasconde un sottotono corallo visibile solo sotto certe luci. Nelle foto ho cercato di riprodurre le varie sfumature del colore. La formula è eccellente, consistenza perfetta, asciugatura rapida. Negli swatches ho usato due passate seguite da SV top coat. E' un colore must di stagione, semplice e immediato per un manicure senza troppi pensieri. E ha un nome adorabile. A chi non piace uno Strawberry Margarita?
